What stays on device
Recordings, transcripts, notes, summaries, todos, templates, custom vocabulary, images, chats, and app settings are stored locally.
Network use
Network access is used for model downloads, app store licensing or purchase flows, website analytics on the public marketing site, and website link-outs that you explicitly open.
Model downloads
Model files may be downloaded from HushMemo model hosting or third-party model hosting. Model downloads do not require uploading your recordings or transcripts.
Support
If you email support, the email content and any attachments you send are handled as part of the support conversation. Do not send sensitive recordings unless support explicitly asks and you choose to share them.
Analytics and tracking
The public website uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to understand page views, traffic sources, and aggregate engagement. These website analytics scripts do not receive your recordings, transcripts, notes, summaries, templates, vocabulary, images, chats, or app settings. The app is still designed with no account, no sync, and no third-party crash reporting in the current release plan.
Your choices
You can delete local notes, audio, images, vocabulary, templates, and settings from the app where those controls are available.
Release note: the final privacy wording should be rechecked after the production permission audit.
